Notes

Anna and Casper lived in Hague, ND with Anna's parents, Ignatz and Barbara Gross. The last information known is that after Anna's parents passed away she and Kasper separated and many years later she was working at a nursing home in Minot, ND. Later she was a patient at the nursing home. Kasper lived and died at Strasburg, ND. Little is know of their sons. Willie was in the military and later a patient at the veterans hospital in western South Dakota. Bobby was in the army and afterwards lived in Portland, Oregon. He passed away many years ago. Teddy married and lived somewhere in North Dakota.

I talked to Victor Kraft about Casimere family. He said Bobby was in the Army for about 19 years, then he was either kicked out or had a medical discharge. He is not sure. He moved to Portland, OR. He said Bobby died about ten years later in his forties. Both Phyllis and Melvyn moved to Minot (not sure of the city).. Melvyn died of leukemia in his teens or early twenties. Both he & Phyllis had what he called Mental Issues. I think they just were leaning disabled. He said Phyllis too worked for a Priest as had Anne, that Phyllis died relatively young. He said Teddy married a Schatz girl from Zeeland, ND & worked for farmers in ND then they moved to California. They divorced and he thought had two kids. Teddy had trouble with the law off and on. He died several years ago as had Willy who was in both the Navy & the Army, that he too had serious drinking problems and that he also had trouble with the law. He died several years ago.
