Marguerite "Cookie" Muehleisen Wade Marine City - Marguerite "Cookie" Muehleisen Wade, 55,
of Marine City, entered into Eternal Life on Saturday, April 24, 2010. She was born in
Royal Oak, Michigan on March 23, 1955, a daughter to Arnold Louis Muehleisen and
Katherine Ann (Klieman) Muehleisen. Cookie graduated from Holy Cross High School,
Marine City, in 1973 and was employed as a home health care nurse.
She was an avid traveler and liked to sing along to rock and roll songs, especially
"Kid Rock" songs. She enjoyed gardening, working crossword puzzles, and very much enjoyed
spending time with her family. Surviving are her husband, Martyn; children,
Patrick Currier, Mark Sanders and Kathleen Sanders, all of Marine City;
her mother and father, Arnold and Kate Muehleisen of Marine City; her siblings,
Thomas (Rebecca) Muehleisen, James Muehleisen and Linda (Eric) Girard, all of Marine City;
and her mother-in-law, Patricia Wade of Westland. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on
Thursday at 11 a.m. in Our Lady on the River Parish's Holy Cross Catholic Church, Marine City.
Interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Marine City. Cookie's family will receive visitors
in Bower-Rose Funeral Home, Marine City, on Wednesday 2-8 p.m. and in the church on
Thursday 10:30 - 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Marine City Old Newsboys.
