I worked as a cook
and manager for Greyhound Foods at Bismarck, North Dakota
from August 1948 to April 1956. I transferred to Minneapolis,
Minnesota in April 1956. I worked there until May 1972. We
purchased a Baskin Robbins ice cream store and sold it in
February 1977. My family and I moved to Beaverton, Oregon in
1977 and purchased a donut shop. We sold it in 1981. I worked
for the Beaverton school district until 1991, then retired.

Heart valve implanted in 2004. Also, diagnosed as diabetic in 2007.

Joe has a history of septicemia (blood infection). He's survived several bouts of the infection for the past few years.
