Daniel Peterson
Daniel Peterson, 52, Bismarck, died Nov. 17, 2006, at his
home, of natural causes. Services will be held at 2 p.m.
Wednesday, Nov. 22, at Cathedral of the Holy Spirit,
Bismarck, with the Rev. Paul Eberle officiating. Visitation
will be held from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Eastgate
Funeral Service, Bismarck, where a prayer service will be
held at 7 p.m. Daniel Scott Peterson was born Dec. 4, 1953,
in Grand Forks, the son of Raymond and Harriet (Guerard)
Peterson. He was raised and attended school in Grand Forks,
where he graduated from high school in 1971. Following high
school, Daniel enlisted in the U.S. Army and was stationed
in Frankfort, Germany. Daniel had many different jobs and
worked in many different cities throughout the United
States. He later settled in Bismarck and married Carol
Gross on Jan. 21, 1981. He attended Bismarck State College
and received an associates degree in science. He enjoyed
hunting, fishing, the outdoors, photography, computers and
most of all, being with family and friends and helping
others. Daniel is survived by his wife, Carol Peterson,
Bismarck; his sons, Derrick Peterson, Bismarck, and Kelly
Gross, Bismarck; his parents, Raymond and Harriet Peterson,
Inkster; his grandchildren, Logan and Ethan, Bismarck; two
sisters and one brother-in-law, Diane Peterson, Grand
Forks, and Vicki and Mark Hanson, Crookston, Minn.; his
nephews, Jeremy and Corey; his nieces, Tammi, Wendi, Cheryl
and Shanna; his aunts, Patty and Annie; his uncles and
cousins; and two cats, Lucy "Snooby" and Kiki. He was
preceded in death by his brother, Ron Peterson; his uncle,
Cecil Guerard; and his grandparents, Willard and Eugenia
Guerard and August and Sophie Peterson.
